Forget Aladdin and his flying carpets, take a ride on one of Lightwater Valley's Flying Camels! This interactive carousel ride enables passengers to choose the height at which they fly at which adds a lot of fun.

Guests will board one of ten camels on the ride and wait for their journey to begin. The ride slowly starts off, having a few rotations of the surrounding area before the interactive flight mode is enabled. Allow the young ones to dare themselves to go up higher and then suddenly drop below, or perhaps just takes the whole journey up in the sky, it is totally upto you!

To take your camel higher, simply press the button located in front you and release to lower your camel, it is that simple. After many laps around the ride, you will be automatically lowered and into a stop position.

Each gondola has a fantastic camel-themed outer structure with nicely landscaped walls and plants surrounding the area. So what are you waiting for, go take a ride on one of these magical Flying Camels!

Overall Flying Camels is a fun unique experience at the park, let's just hope it doesnt fly away too soon.

The ride was bought from the now defunct park Pleasure Land, where it operated under the same name, in 2006 and opened in 2007 at Lightwater Valley. The ride proves popular with young children due to the brightly coloured approach to it along with the very fun interactive flight device.

The ride is manufactured by I.E. Park and can reach heights of 15ft and operates with a total of 24 passengers.
