Located at the entrance of the park, Skyrider is a great way to start your day as it offers a nice gentle thrill that everyone can enjoy.

Riders sit in metal frame seats which are chained to the huge top-hat of the ride. Swinging around the central pole, you are pushed outwards above the crowd below. The ride begins to pick up more speed, pushing you even further out! The top-hat then tilts upwards increasing the ride height, more height means more thrill! This is literally is a rock ‘n’ roll ride.

Skyrider is a very attractive ride which is beautifully decorated with musical paintings and lights, even the operator’s booth has a music theme with its concert posters on. The Skyrider will have you rockin' all day!

Overall the Skyrider is great family ride that will rock your mind and roll your stomach!

The giant wave swinger created much speculation amongst theme park enthusiasts before its opening, but all were answered when it was unveiled in May 2006.

It seemed a step in the right direction by most people as Lightwater Valley aim to be a family theme park, the Skyrider fits perfectly into their plans.
